Andrew Wommack’s Daily 31 December 2017 Devotional: God Still Performs Miracles

Topic: God Still Performs Miracles [Sunday December 31, 2017]

Mark 16:20 "And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen."

The Lord confirmed the preaching of His Word with miracles. If Jesus and the first century Christians needed the Word confirmed with the miraculous (Heb. 2:4), then we do too. There is no scripture that says these miraculous signs have passed away.

Some people have interpreted "that which is perfect" in 1 Corinthians 13:10, as being the complete Bible. This has led them to believe that the gifts of the Spirit have ceased. Although God's Word is perfect (Ps. 19:7), it is not the "perfect thing" that is referred to here. 1 Corinthians 13:8 does say that tongues shall cease, but it will not happen until "that which is perfect is come."

In 1 Corinthians 13:12, Paul says, "when that which is perfect is come, we shall see face to face." This speaks of seeing the Lord face to face, instead of vaguely, as through a dark glass, as it is now. Some might argue that this is speaking in a symbolic sense, instead of literally face to face. But the next comparison in this verse says that then, "when that which is perfect is come," we shall know all things even as we are also known. There is no other way to interpret this, except as a description of when we will stand before the Lord, after this life. Then we will be face to face, and know all things even as also we are known.

Verse eight says that at the time prophecies fail and tongues cease, knowledge will vanish away. This is talking about the next life, or the new heavens and earth, because one of the signs of the end times is that knowledge shall increase (Dan. 12:4).

So the "that which is perfect" that Paul speaks of, cannot be the Bible. It has to be either our glorified body, or Jesus at His second coming. Either way, these verses establish that until "that which is perfect is come," tongues and prophecy will remain. They are still valid gifts, and even today, it is God's will to accompany the preaching of His Word with miracles.

Topic: Don't Speak—Shout Your Victory! [Sunday December 31, 2017]

From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lord's name is to be praised. - Psalm 113:3

Praise God. Praise Him in the morning. Praise Him at noon. Praise Him at night. If you've never praised God in your life, then get started right now. Praise Him for freedom. Praise Him for healing and Calvary. Praise Him for the Name of Jesus.

You ought to be shouting your way to work and shouting your way back home! If there's anything the devil can't stand, it's praise.

If you've taken territory from the devil and he's coming against you to get it back, this is not the time to sit down and whine about how things aren't working out. It's not time to decide that God has taken His hand off your life.

It is time to get into the Word and get yourself re-anchored in God's promises. It is time to keep those promises constantly before your eyes and in your heart. It is time to pray the prayer of faith and take your stand on the basis of His provision. It is time to continue to do the things you know to do.

When Satan starts shaking your mountain, don't retreat and run for cover. Speak to the mountain with the authority you wield in the Name of Jesus Christ. Then, when you're done with that, start to praise and shout the victory.

You don't have to be afraid of Satan. He'll be afraid of you!

Topic: God Loves You! [Sunday December 31, 2017]

We know how much God loves us because we have felt his love . . . —1 John 4:16 (TLB)

Never question God’s great love, for it is as unchangeable a part of God as is His holiness. Were it not for the love of God, none of us would ever have a chance in the future life. But God is love! And His love for us is everlasting.

The promises of God’s love and forgiveness are as real, as sure, as positive, as human words can make them. But, like describing the ocean, its total beauty cannot be understood until it is actually seen. It is the same with God’s love. Until you actually possess true peace with God, no one can describe its wonders to you.

Prayer for the day: Yes, almighty God, I have felt the consolation of Your love!

“For the land you are about to enter and possess is not like the land of Egypt where you are come from, where irrigation is necessary. It is a land of hills and valleys with plenty of rain – a land that the Lord your God personally cares for! His eyes are always upon it, day after day throughout the year”. -Deuteronomy 11:10-12 (TLB)

Thank God for the gift of Jesus Christ. His coming changed the face of so many things and gave us access into the presence of God. Can you imagine what that means? That simply means that you and I, by the reason of our salvation, which was neither our idea or paid for by us, can enter into the throne of grace and find grace and help in the time of need. This means that we can now come boldly into God’s presence, without the slaughtering of goats and rams. Think back into the Old Testament, no matter how many sacrifices you offer, you can never come into the Holy of Holies because it is reserved for only the High Priest and even the High Priest can come in only once in a year after going through the rigorous cleansing exercise. But today, you and I can come boldly to the throne of grace and obtain mercy and find grace to help in the time of need. What an awesome privilege.

However, that is not all, as we round off this year, I want to encourage you don’t pitch your tent yet because the God you serve is a progressive God. He is not through with you, the coming year will be better for you in Jesus’ name. And are you there, looking at this outgoing year with tears in your eyes? I have come to you with a word from God: weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Your morning of joy is about to break in Jesus’ name. God will come through for you.

As you go into the coming year, I prophesy over your life and your expectation will not be cut short. See you at the top.

Our Daily Manna December 31, 2017: ODM devotional: Champions Pour Forth Their Wine

Topic: Champions Pour Forth Their Wine [Sunday, December 31, 2017]

Basic Scripture: Mark 9: 30-37

Benjamin Franklin, the early American statesman and philosophy, once made a list of character traits that he desired to develop in his personal life. When he mastered and conquered one, he would to the other! He did beautifully well till he hot to humility!

He discovered that every time he was making significant progress, he would be so proud with himself that he became proud! Does is not sound absurd that you will be so proud that you are humble? We all are guilty of this [- including us pastors! Heaven wants you to develop this elusive and rare virtue/character trait in life and ministry! You did not come across this devotional write-up by accidents today! Heaven is about to do a surgical operation to disgrace all hidden pride in your life! Pride can creep into our hearts just after a powerful ministration, especially when you are told, “Oh that was a wonderful service.” Beware! The praise of men is a paralyzing force! Don’t expect it if it comes, reject it in your heart on the spot and go and ROLL FOR GOD IN A TOILET because you are dust!

Pride can creep in when you are offended and yet the Word says that you must take the first step of reconciliation (Matthew 5: 23-24)! Pride and anger can creep in when people slander and falsely accuse you! Pride can creep in when people who are not your ‘equal’ in life and ministry do and say strange things to you! Never forget that the way up is down! Pride can come in like a thief in the night when you are asked to serve others or to do jobs below your status! That was the problem of the disciples of Jesus in today’s scripture.

On this last day of 2017, whether in your home, office, school, market place or church, determine to serve others as if you are serving Christ! Pursue humility in 2018! It was Harriet Eleanor King who wrote: “Measure thy life by loss, instead of gain; not by the wine drunk, but by the wine forth.” Go and do likewise! Pour forth your life and watch the unseen divine Finger move you by force to higher grounds! End of 2017 is not the end of your destiny! Oh! I see 2018 and THE LORD told me that 2018 is you SPECIAL YEAR OF DECORATION

Prayer Points: Take song 3: Because He Lives …

1. Millions died this year! Thank God for the gift of life.

2. Pray about any other 2017 write-ups as led now.

3. Repent from past failures and pride!

4. Lord, deal bountifully with my family and I in your mercy! Restore all we have lost this year! Decorate us in 2018! Grant us the grace to start again! Grant us the grace to fast again form January 6th as we get the ODM and “War Against Haman – 13”

5. Pray abut today and about any issue(s) bothering you now and give God praise for this year and for 2018!

Our Daily Bread 31 December 2017 Devotional – Faith-Building Memories

Topic: Faith-Building Memories — Sunday December 31, 2017.

Read: Lamentations 3:19–26, Bible in a Year: Malachi 1–4; Revelation 22

Great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:23

As I stepped into the music-filled sanctuary, I looked around at the crowd that had gathered for a New Year’s Eve party. Joy lifted my heart with hope, as I recalled the prayers of the previous year. Our congregation had collectively grieved over wayward children, deaths of loved ones, job losses, and broken relationships. But we’d also experienced God’s grace as we recalled changed hearts and healed personal connections. We’d celebrated victories, weddings, graduations, and baptisms into God’s family. We’d welcomed children born, adopted, or dedicated to the Lord, and more—so much more.

Reflecting over the history of trials our church family faced, much like Jeremiah remembered his “affliction” and his “wandering” (Lam. 3:19), I believed that “because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail” (v. 22). As the prophet reassured himself of God’s past faithfulness, his words comforted me: “The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him” (v. 25).

That night, each person in our congregation represented a tangible expression of God’s life-transforming love. Whatever we’d face in the years to come, as members of the interdependent body of Christ, we could rely on the Lord. And as we continue to seek Him and support one another, we can, as did Jeremiah, find our hope being ratified by faith-building memories of God’s unchanging character and dependability.

Prayer:Lord, thank You for using our past to assure us our hope remains secure in Your everlasting faithfulness.

As we look ahead to the new year, let’s remember that God has always been and always will be faithful.

Insight:

In Lamentations 3, Jeremiah laments those who are persecuted for standing true to the Lord. He feels as if he himself has been plunged into darkness and chained as a prisoner (vv. 1–9). He has experienced attacks, abduction, and isolation, and has been scorned and pierced by his enemies (vv. 10–15). Personal dignity and a sense of security have been painfully replaced with loneliness and sorrow (vv. 16–20).

Yet within this valley of despair there is a greater reality that rises above the circumstances. As we reflect on the character of God we see He is always present in our situation and offers comfort and hope. God’s mercies are as certain as the rising of the sun each day (vv. 21–23). In view of this inspiring truth, the living God truly is all that we need for any of life’s trials (v. 24).

As you think back over the past year, when have you experienced the faithfulness of God? Dennis Fisher

Seeds of Destiny 31 December 2017 by Pastor Paul Enenche: Vision and Preservation

Topic: Vision and Preservation [Sunday December 31, 2017]

Scripture: Where there is no vision, the people perish…Proverbs 29:18

Thought For The Day: People who have no reason to live have no right to live; to see far is to live long.

Sometime ago, I came across an incredible work of research that caught my attention. The researcher got two containers that had rats in each of them. One of the containers was completely sealed and dark, it had no light but had openings for airflow. The other container was uncovered and had light for the rats to see. At the end of the period, it was discovered that both group of rats struggled to come out of their containers but could not. Now, the group of rats in the dark container that could not see anything died, whereas, the group of rats that had light and could see, survived.

This was because they could see light; their sight gave them access to life. They knew that there was life outside the container, so they could not die. The other group of rats died for lack of vision.

Beloved, vision is a preserver of life. People who have no reason to live have no right to live; to see far is to live long. Many times, visionfullness is the reason for sicklessness.

My counsel is, as you step into the New Year tomorrow, occupy your heart and life with correct and solid vision for 2018 that will sustain and preserve you all through the year.

CONGRATULATIONS! 2017 DID NOT SEE YOUR END BUT YOU SAW THE END OF 2017. 2018 IS HERE FOR YOU TO LIVE, PROSPER AND PREVAIL. YOU ARE BLESSED. HALLELUJAH!

Remember This: People who have no reason to live, have no right to live; to see far is to live long.

Assignment(S):

1. Write down all the goodness, blessings, helps, mercies and the deliverances of God experienced in your life and family in 2017.

2. Take out time today to appreciate God profusely.

Prayer: Thank You Lord for making me to see the end of this year. Help me to occupy my heart and life with correct vision for the New Year, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

Text: Psalm 114:1-8

Key Verse: "The sea saw it, and fled: Jordan was driven back. The mountains skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs"(Psalm 114:3,4).

Once, while a man lay in bed reading a book, the Lord decided to teach him some sobering lessons. Momentarily, sleep took over, his book and pen dropped off. About a minute or so later, he woke up to discover that the book and pen he firmly held had broken loose from his grip. It dawned on him that at death or end of a race, there would also be an inevitable finishing line. Every activity would cease. No secular race is endless. One would have to let go of whatever he would be holding or doing. So it is with the fixed seasons of time.

A year begins and ends. It was the same with biblical Israel. There was a period of bondage that appeared to be endless. But it did end on an eminent note for liberated Israel as Psalm 114 recounts. The elements saw the children of Jacob marching away from an old order into a new one and gave way at the commandment of God. The mighty Red Sea broke into two walls and created a dry expressway. So did the River Jordan. The mountains on the land followed suit. They "skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs" (verse 4).

They all trembled "at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob" (verse 7). As the Christian also transits from the old to the new year, everyone should let go of the past and be confident of marching forward in the power of the Lord. If the outgoing year was full of the stress of the reckless race for survival, it will be good to concentrate your thoughts on what the new year holds while not forgetting the crown of life that awaits successful pilgrims in heaven. So, let inconsistency of the past be replaced with abundant life of victory through the new year.

Let us embrace the Lord as our lifetime Partner as did the children of Israel when they came out of slavery in Egypt. We shall be guaranteed the same glorious outing they had when they depended on God for guidance into a new era. If we did not make the outgoing year count for Christ, let us make a reverential commitment to enable each day count for Him all through the incoming year.

Thought for the day: Don’t take the burden of the past into the New Year.

Memorise: He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame. – Proverbs 10:5

Read: Genesis 3:7-10 (KJV)

7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.

9 And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?

10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.

Bible in One Year: Song of Solomon 4-8, Malachi 3:16-4:6, Hymn: Sing Hymn 9: On The Hill Far Away

MESSAGE:

Although God is much very willing to help you, before you can receive help from Him, you have to first settle the issue of your spiritual location. In today’s Bible reading, when God came visiting Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden, and He did not find them where he expected them to be, He made a passionate call to them saying: “Adam, where are you?” If God will help you, He needs to know where you are. Do you want God’s help today? If yes, where are you standing presently? Are you where you were at the beginning of the year? Are you stagnant, unproductive, unprofitable, and not making progress? In the parable of the talents, the fellow who received one talent proved to be unproductive (Matthew 25:24-30). That is however not God’s expectation of you. Some people are unproductive because they do the right thing at the wrong time. Proverbs 10:5 says,

“He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame.”

There is a time for everything. There is a time to work and a time to rest. Rest follows work and not the other way round. Today, quite a number of people unfortunately go on vacations even though they have not worked. Rest is earned. If you rest without deserving it, you will be showing to the whole world how unwise you really are. When many children of affluent people, who never worked one day to earn an income, are bequeathed with great wealth, the next thing they think of doing is how to go on a spending spree of the funds they never worked for.

Beloved, where is your present location? If you are located in laziness, disobedience, self-will or unforgiveness, receiving help from God may be a mirage. If you are sleeping when you should be actively engaged for the Master, you are a shame to the Body of Christ. The harvest of this world is already ripe and gradually becoming overripe. This is harvest time. How many souls did you personally win to Christ this year? Is there any significant improvement to your life compared to last year or have you lost further grounds to laziness, procrastination and idleness? Can you say you are experiencing progress? Movement can be sideways, forward or backward. May you never go backward in Jesus’ Name! Consider your location and take appropriate steps so that you can receive God’s help this season.

Action Point:Before asking God for anything make sure you are not located in disobedience or unbelief.

Hymn 9: On The Hill Far Away

1. On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross,
The emblem of suff’ring and shame;
And I love that old cross where the Dearest and Best
For a world of lost sinners was slain.

Refrain:
So I’ll cherish the old rugged cross,
Till my trophies at last I lay down;
I will cling to the old rugged cross,
And exchange it someday for a crown.

2. Oh, that old rugged cross, so despised by the world,
Has a wondrous attraction for me;
For the dear Lamb of God left His glory above
To bear it to dark Calvary.
Refrain:

3. In that old rugged cross, stained with blood so divine,
A wondrous beauty I see,
For ’twas on that old cross Jesus suffered and died,
To pardon and sanctify me.
Refrain:

4. To the old rugged cross I will ever be true;
Its shame and reproach gladly bear;
Then He’ll call me someday to my home far away,
Where His glory forever I’ll share.
Refrain:

Joyce Meyer's Daily 31 December 2017 Devotional: Trusting God Through Emotional Trials

Topic: Trusting God Through Emotional Trials [Sunday December 31, 2017]

And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him–the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the reverential and obedient fear of the Lord —Isaiah 11:2

Growing into a mature Christian who follows the Holy Spirit is not something that happens overnight—it is a learning process that takes time. Little by little, one experience after another, God tries and tests our emotions, giving us opportunities to grow.

God allows us to go through difficult situations that stir up our emotions. In this way, you and I are able to see for ourselves how emotionally unstable we can be and how desperately we need His help.
Jesus exemplified this for us. The night before He died for our sins, He was in great emotional turmoil. He didn't want to die, but He moved past His emotions and prayed to God, "Not my will, but Yours be done." Things certainly didn't get better immediately, but in the end Jesus emerged victorious through the greatest trial possible.

You can make it through your emotional trials. Jesus wasn't led by His feelings, and you don't have to be either. When God lets things affect you emotionally, seize the moment and view it as an opportunity to step into a place of absolute trust in God.

Prayer Starter: Lord, I know that I can trust in You when emotional trials come my way. With Jesus as my example, I say, “Not my will, but Yours be done.” You know what’s best for me and I trust You completely.

Seeds of Destiny 1 January 2018 by Pastor Paul Enenche: The God Of New Beginnings

Topic: The God Of New Beginnings [Monday December 1, 2018]

Scripture: In the beginning God created the Heaven and the Earth.Genesis 1:1.

Thought For The Day: God, in line with His Nature, usually proves Himself at the beginning of every new phase of life.

You are welcome to the Year 2018. The Spirit of the LORD has made it clear that God is ready to do great things in our lives this year.

As we begin the year 2018, it is worthy of note that our God is a God of new beginnings (Isaiah 43:18-19). God, in line with His nature, usually proves Himself at the beginning of every new phase of life.

To confirm this, we will identify few Scriptural examples where God proved Himself at the beginning of different phases of life:

1. At Creation: God proved Himself as the God of new beginning at creation. The Bible makes it clear that the Earth was without form and void; darkness was upon the face of the deep (Genesis 1:2). Nothing was working; everything was on a standstill. In that hopeless condition, God stepped into the scene and things began to work.

2. The Life of Samson: God also manifested Himself in the life of Samson as the God of new beginnings. When Samson defiled himself with Delilah, he became a prey in the hands of the philistines and they shaved his hair which signified his Nazarite consecration. They also gouged his eyes. However, the God of new beginnings worked on his life and his hair grew again (Judges 16:22).

3. The story of the valley of dry bones: In Ezekiel 37:1-10, we see yet another scenario where God manifested Himself as a God of new Beginnings. Dry and dead bones became a great army when God stepped in. People who had died and their bodies had decayed lived again and were given a new start of life because the God of new beginning stepped into the situation.

Beloved, you may have experienced breakthroughs in life before but you noticed somewhere along the line that all of a sudden, things stopped working in your life; I want to let you know that the God that caused things to work at the beginning of creation, made Samson’s hair to regrow and caused dry bones to live again will cause your life to blossom again in Jesus’ Name. It is your year of new beginning. It is your year of new things in positive dimensions. Happy New Year!

Remember This: God, in line with His Nature, usually proves Himself at the beginning of every new phase of life.

Assignments:

1. Appreciate God for the privilege of seeing the New Year.

2. Ask the God of new beginning to begin new things in your life.

Prayer: O Lord, I thank You for the privilege of seeing another Year. I ask that You cause the beginning of total transmogrification of my life and destiny, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

Text: Psalm 73:1-28

Key Verse: "Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee"(Psalm 73:25).

A Scottish preacher, Andrew Bonar, wrote in his diary: "This day 20 years ago I preached for the first time as an ordained minister. It is amazing that the Lord has spared me and used me at all. I have no reason to wonder that He used others far more than He used me. Yet envy is my hurt... Lord, take away this envy from me!"

The psalmist narrated in the text how he nearly abandoned his faith in God when he considered the prosperity of the wicked. He thought that if God was angry with the wicked, why do they prosper and appear to live well? The prosperity and progress of the godless who are not suffering any visible or immediate consequences for their actions affected his determination and consecration to follow the Lord.

This continued until he went into the sanctuary and received enlightenment that the prosperity of the wicked, like a dream, vanishes, the same way their lives will suddenly end in eternal damnation. Knowing this, the psalmist renewed his consecration to follow God till the end. Focusing on the possessions of others is the quickest way to become envious and unhappy. It makes one lose perspective or vision of greater values of life which should be our priority and pursuit. God wants you to place priority on the spiritual above the physical, on the eternal above the temporal.

The change that brings proper vision takes place in the inner life. How? Repent of all sins, ask God for pardon and cleansing in Christ’s blood and invite Jesus to live in you as Saviour. Salvation is the basic spiritual experience that opens the door for all other blessings (Matthew 6:33). Without it, earthly life will be full of needless hassles while hope of a blissful afterlife will be a mirage. The ultimate goal in life, you need to understand, is not prosperity or the absence of pain but living in His presence here and hereafter.

Thought for the day: Reputation is what you bring on arrival; character is what you’re remembered for upon departure.

Read: Ezra 1:1–11, Bible in a Year: Genesis 1–3; Matthew 1

Everyone whose heart God had moved—prepared to go up and build the house of the Lord in Jerusalem.Ezra 1:5

After Christmas festivities conclude at the end of December, my thoughts often turn to the coming year. While my children are out of school and our daily rhythms are slow, I reflect on where the last year has brought me and where I hope the next will take me. Those reflections sometimes come with pain and regret over the mistakes I’ve made. Yet the prospect of starting a new year fills me with hope and expectancy. I feel I have the opportunity to begin again with a fresh start, no matter what the last year held.

My anticipation of a fresh start pales in comparison to the sense of hope the Israelites must have felt when Cyrus, the king of Persia, released them to return to their homeland in Judah after seventy long years of captivity in Babylon. The previous king, Nebuchadnezzar, had deported the Israelites from their homeland. But the Lord prompted Cyrus to send the captives home to Jerusalem to rebuild God’s temple (Ezra 1:2–3). Cyrus also returned to them treasures that had been taken from the temple. Their lives as God’s chosen people, in the land God had appointed to them, began afresh after a long season of hardship in Babylon as a consequence for their sin.

No matter what lies in our past, when we confess our sin, God forgives us and gives us a fresh start. What great cause for hope!

God’s grace offers us fresh starts.

Our Daily Manna January 1, 2018: ODM Devotional: Count Your Blessing

Topic: Count Your Blessing [Monday, January 1, 2018]

Basic Scripture: Roman 12: 3-17

Welcome to this new year in which you will be decorated. It will be awesome to begin this year with a personal and dedicated thanksgiving! That you are alive is a great reason to thank your God! No matter how last year or your past was, put the devil to shame and thank the giver of life-Jehovah God! If you are not thankful for what you have, you are not likely to be thankful for what you are going to get this year!

The average human being easily forgets the millions of goodness we have been blessed with by God. But the person who forgets the language of gratitude will never find himself on speaking terms with happiness because the Lord told me that he will decorate many this year! Yes! Welcome to your year of decoration! Just as Elisha tore his clothes (mantle) and put on Elijah’s cloth (mantle) in 2kings 2:9-15, this is the year in which a new mantle (divine garment) will be placed upon you! The Lord told me that it is a change of garment year! The old garment of shame and ridicule will be replaced with new garment of fame and miracles! Ah! Look for things to be thankful for, because thanksgiving provokes decoration! Stop seeing the losses, the pain, delay, etc, and see God’s ‘little’ mercies. Always look at what you have left not what you have Lost! For every allowed battle, there is a blessing attached!

Never forget this in 2018: There are enemies of personal peace: Regrets over yesterday’s mistakes, ingratitude for today’s blessings and anxiety over tomorrow’s problems! Verse 12 of today’s scripture says, “rejoice by force! Rejoice in hope of a great year ahead! Within the last few years of your life, there are things you can look back and say, “thank you Father” Sit down and count your blessings today and begin to prepare to start the year with a 21-day Worldwide fast again (from Saturday January 6th to Friday January 26th 2018)!

Get the “war against Haman-13” booklet which contains ALL the 21-days fasting and prayer points and crucial directions! Then prepare to be at the World anointing decoration night on Friday, January 26th, 7pm at TBS Lagos, Nigeria. It is also called change-of-garment night because through this fasting programme and that decoration night, a new garment is coming upon you! Bring any dress/shirt you do not use again or that you can tear to pieces at the anointing night after prayers! It will be a wonderful night and a wonderful year! Refuse to be discouraged or depressed! Be thankful for the gift of Life Pray again! Pray now!

Prayer Points: Take song 3: Because He Lives….

1. Thank you Lord for the gift of Life! I have Hope that this will be a greater year in Jesus name. Satan, you are a liar!

2. I ask for the grace to pray and fast again this January! Pray the “Prayers just before fasting programme” on page 108 of “War Against Human 13” booklet for the next 5 days till January 5th!

TREM’s Daily 1 January 2018 Devotional by Dr. Mike Okonkwo - Welcome To Your Year Of Commanded Blessings

Topic: Welcome To Your Year Of Commanded Blessings — Monday January 1, 2018.

“As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore” Psalm 133:3 (KJV)

Happy New Year. It is my prayer that this year will deliver to you in every area in Jesus’ name. The theme for this year is “Commanded Blessing”. When the Lord gave the theme, it was clear that He has something definite in mind for the church. For too long the Church has walked independent of each other, we have allowed the lines of denomination divide us. We forget that there is no denomination in Heaven. The only qualification for Heaven is accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour. If you have done this, then we are members of one body – the body of Christ.

If you look at the global events, you will agree that the time to stand as one is now. The world is challenging us and we are being buffeted on every side. Why do the work of the devil by attacking your brother or sister? We do not need to agree on every doctrinal issue, but as long as you agree on the foundation of our faith, every other thing is secondary.

Our scripture today is a very popular one and it simply tells us where the commanded blessing is. Don’t stop in verse 3, take it from the beginning and you will discover that the blessing rests in the place of unity.

I challenge you this year to do everything for the unity of the Body of Christ. Stay with your group, home fellowship, ministering arm and dispel every act of disunity and watch the blessing of God flow in abundance.

This year, you will enjoy the commanded blessing in Jesus’ name.

. . . Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead. — Philippians 3:13 (TLB)

As we flick the calendar to a new year, we come face to face with the fact that our days on earth are numbered. As the Psalmist wrote, “Teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.” No thoughtful person can approach New Year’s Day without some introspection. We are reminded of the brevity of time. We also look back over our failures, mistakes, and missed opportunities, and vow that we will make better use of our time during the coming year. We should take time to be pleasant, to smile, to extend the small courtesies we often omit—to show love to our family. Psychiatrists tell us that most people are starved for love. Take time for the goodbye kiss; we shall go to work with a sweeter spirit. Let us take time to get acquainted with our families. We are not machines. We are not robots. The secret of a happy home is that members of the family learn to give and receive love. Let us take time to express our love in a thousand ways.

Prayer for the day: As I begin a new year, Lord Jesus, I pray that my walk through the days ahead will be filled with Your love for others, a love that does not count the cost.

Written by Billy Graham, Founder of Billy Graham Evangelistic Association(BGEA). BGEA exists to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ by every effective means and to equip the church and others to do the same.
