TREM’s Daily 12 January 2018 Devotional by Dr. Mike Okonkwo - Strive For Excellence

Topic: Strive For Excellence [TREM’s Daily Friday January 12th, 2018]

“Observe people who are good at their work –skilled workers are always in demand and admired; they don’t take a backseat to anyone.” - (Proverbs 22:29 (MSG)

Now is the time to position yourself to do things better and to take your place. When you take a cue from the story of creation, you would notice that God did not subscribe to the status-quo which was darkness. He took a decision to do something about the darkness{status-quo}and when He was done, He looked at what He had created and declared that it was good. In other words, He affirmed that He had put in His best. He found fulfilment in what He had done. He saw that His work was excellent.

Beloved, part of your goal should be to strive for excellence always. God’s intention is that you would do your work the way He would have worked if He were in your shoes. The scriptures record concerning Jesus that “He did all things well.” When you begin to display the excellence that is required from a child of God, you make it very easy for the gospel to penetrate your work environment because you are the ‘Jesus’ the people know and you are the ‘bible’ they read.

Let me remind you that everywhere you go, your assignment as a believer is to plant the kingdom. Just like the three Hebrew children we read in the book of Daniel, let people look at you and seek the God you serve whether at work or in church. Let your light so shine that men will see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.

I encourage you to put to practice, from Monday to Saturday, what you learnt on Sunday. The word of God is practical and achievable. It is not a theory or a myth! So always dare to make the difference. The word will always produce without fail.

Today, I declare the knowledge of witty inventions over your life. No one will rob you of your innovation. It is your time to be recognized. In the midst of the seeming darkness in our nation, you will shine as light.

Topic: They Must Submit! [Our Daily Manna ODM Friday, January 12th, 2018]

Basic Scriptures: Psalm 18:44-45, 66:3, exodus 12:29-36.

When your ways please the lord this year, He will make all your enemies to be at peace with you BY force, prov.16:7! The open Bible in basic English (BBE) puts it this way : “when a man’s ways are pleasing to the lord, he makes even his haters to be at peace with him” Yes, YOUR HATERS will SUBMIT BY FORCE this year because they will see JEHOVAH AT WORK DECORATING YOU! Ah! I SEE A CHANGE OF GARMENT ANOINTING COMING UPON YOU THIS YEAR! That is why the lord (not man or friends) must be all that you desire to please daily this year!

Shame marital connection submitted to Ruth! Jezebel and Ahab submitted to Elijah! Jordan submitted to Elisha at his change of garment ceremony at the river Bank. 2 kings 2!

The book of psalms chap 66:3 declares; say unto God, how terrible art thou in thy works! Through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee. As you sow your decoration change of garment seed and as you pray the decoration psalm you shall receive, what was called shame shall be called fame because the lord shall set your head to be far above your haters! In 2018, the lord will cause something terrible to happen in the camp and lives of your enemies for good that will compel your enemies to submit to you by force!

Pharaoh and Egypt witnessed the decoration of the Jews in Egypt and they had to fully submit to Moses! Oh determine to complete this fast and be at the world ANOINTING change of garment night! Topic: Fitting In [Our Daily Bread 12th Friday January, 2018]

Read: Malachi 3:13–18, Bible in a Year: Genesis 29–30; Matthew 9:1–17

Then those who feared the Lord talked with each other, and the Lord listened and heard. Malachi 3:16

Lee is a diligent and reliable bank employee. Yet he often finds himself sticking out like a sore thumb for living out his faith. This reveals itself in practical ways, such as when he leaves the break room during an inappropriate conversation. At a Bible study, he shared with his friends, “I fear that I’m losing promotion opportunities for not fitting in.”

Believers during the prophet Malachi’s time faced a similar challenge. They had returned from exile and the temple had been rebuilt, but there was skepticism about God’s plan for their future. Some of the Israelites were saying, “It is futile to serve God. What do we gain by carrying out his requirements . . . ? But now we call the arrogant blessed. Certainly evildoers prosper, and even when they put God to the test, they get away with it” (Malachi 3:14–15).

How can we stand firm for God in a culture that tells us we will lose out if we don’t blend in? The faithful in Malachi’s time responded to that challenge by meeting with like-minded believers to encourage each other. Malachi shares this important detail with us: “The Lord listened and heard” (v. 16).

God notices and cares for all who fear and honor Him. He doesn’t call us to “fit in” but to draw closer to Him each day as we encourage each other. Let’s stay faithful!

Prayer: Lord, help us to keep on encouraging one another to stay faithful to You in this faithless world.

Our faith may be tested so that we may trust God’s faithfulness.

Insight:

Malachi’s prophecy is a fitting conclusion to the Old Testament. (Malachi may not have been his actual name since it means “My messenger,” which is more a title than a name.) The prophecy challenges Israel’s condition following their return from exile and anticipates their coming Messiah. Chapters 1–2 give a series of rebukes for the waywardness of God’s people, leading to the declaration, “You have wearied the Lord with your words” (2:17). In response to Israel’s spiritual drifting, God reaches out with a promise for their rescue. Malachi 3:1 says, “ ‘I will send my messenger, who will prepare the way before me. Then suddenly the Lord you are seeking will come to his temple; the messenger of the covenant, whom you desire, will come,’ says the Lord Almighty.” That messenger was John the Baptist who prepared the way for Jesus—Israel’s long-hoped-for Messiah (Matthew 11:10). Even when we are faithless, our God is faithful!

How does God’s faithfulness encourage you to be faithful? Bill Crowder

Seeds of Destiny 12 January 2018 by Pastor Paul Enenche: Contemporary Examples Of Men Of Vision

Topic: Contemporary Examples Of Men Of Vision [Seeds of Destiny Friday January 12th, 2018]

Scripture:Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.Proverbs 29:18.

Thought For The Day: If you follow God’s principles, you will get His products.

Vision is the lifter of men who conceive it. Men of vision are lifted by the vision they conceive and pursue. Vision is the secret of progress and greatness of the visionary.

In our study yesterday, we looked at practical examples of men of vision from the Bible.

Today, we shall look at men of vision in our contemporary world and how their vision brought them to relevance in life:

1. J. F Kennedy

On May 25, 1961, the President of America, John F. Kennedy announced before a special joint session of Congress the goal of sending an American safely to the Moon before the end of the decade.

Though he was assassinated two years after his declaration, on July 20th 1969, Neil Armstrong became the first man to step on the lunar surface. When he landed from the moon, he heroically said, ‘That was one small step for man and one giant leap for mankind.’ John Kennedy saw it in 1961 and it came to pass in 1969. What you do not see coming will never come to pass.

2. Martin Luther King Junior

On the 28th of August 1963, Martin Luther King Junior, on the steps of Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC said, ‘I have a dream; one day, this nation will rise up and live the true meaning of its creed. We hold this truth to be self-evident that all men are created equal. I have a dream that one day, on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood. I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the colour of their skin but by the content of their character. I have a dream…’

Thirty five years later, a black man by the name Barack Obama was nominated as the presidential candidate of a major political party in America and on January 20th 2009, he was sworn in as the 44th President of The United States of America. Some people thought that it was Barack Obama’s charisma that was solely responsible for his rise to power. No! Someone prophesied thirty five (35) years earlier that people would not be judged by their colour but by the content of their character.

Beloved, the dreams of today are the realities of tomorrow.

God is a God of principles; if you follow God’s principles, you will get His products. God is also a God of vision. Be a man and woman of vision as a child of God.

Remember This: If you follow God’s principles, you will get His products.

Assignments:

1. Endeavour to study the lives of other men of vision and what they achieved.

2. Follow their steps in order to be great in life.

Prayer: O Lord, I ask for grace to follow Your principles for my life in order to get Your products in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna 12 January, 2018 by Pastor Kumuyi – A Worthy Image

Topic: A Worthy Image [DCLM Daily Manna Friday January 12th, 2018]

Text: Leviticus 21:16-23

Key Verse: “No man that hath a blemish of the seed of Aaron the priest shall come nigh to offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire: he hath a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his God.”(Leviticus 21:21).

Secular kingdoms and kings are usually careful in selecting their ambassadors and worthy representatives. They ensure that their choice truly reflects and represents the image, wealth, strength, glory and splendor of their land. As such, no one who appears weak, feeble, fearful and incompetent with any form of impediment is chosen for that office.  They, therefore, expect their would-be representatives to be a true replica of those they represent.

In today’s passage, God specifies the physical qualifications of the priests who were to be His representatives and servants. They were to be whole and perfect without any form of physical deformity. Reasons for this are quite obvious. They were to be the true representatives of the Almighty who is in everything, complete and perfect.

The priest who stood between God and man was to rightly reflect the nature and image of God. It’s important to remember that the Old Testament priesthood and sacrificial order were pointers and foreshadows the perfect New Testament order. The priest was a type of Christ, the perfect and blameless High Priest. Though the issue of physical deformity does not disqualify one from the ministry, we must not lose sight of the symbolic relevance. God still demands perfection from His people today. No one with any form of deformity or blemish is fit for God’s service. And if such is not fit for His service, he is equally not fit for His holy abode.

Remember, Christ is coming for a glorious and perfect Church. So, pray for cleansing by His blood, live a righteous life and obey the word of God in all things to be fit for the Mater’s use here on earth and fit to dwell with Him in heaven. You must possess “holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord” (Hebrews 12:14).

Thought For The Day: It’s only clean vessels that are fit for the Master’s use and honour.

Topic: More Than Conquerors [Joyce Meyer's Daily Friday January 12th, 2018]

So then those who are living the life of the flesh [catering to the appetites and impulses of their carnal nature] cannot please or satisfy God, or be acceptable to Him. — Romans 8:8 (AMPC)

God gives us dreams for the future, but sometimes those dreams can seem impossible. That’s when fear starts to set in.

If you are determined to never give up on your dream, then you have to take chances—you have to be courageous. And you need to understand that courage is not the absence of fear; it is pressing forward when you feel afraid. So when you face situations that threaten or intimidate you, pray for God’s grace to give you boldness and courage so you can move ahead in spite of the feeling of fear.

The spirit of fear will always try to keep you from going forward. The enemy has used fear for centuries to try to stop people, and he is not going to change his strategy now. But you can defeat fear, because you are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves us.

I want to encourage you to be determined to face fear when it comes against you. Stand firm, trusting God and knowing He is always with you.

Prayer Starter: God, even though I might feel afraid, I believe Your Word, which says that I am more than a conqueror. I can accomplish every dream You’ve given me because You love me and give me the victory.

Open Heavens 12 January 2018: Friday daily devotional by Pastor Adeboye – He Saves To The Uttermost

Topic: He Saves To The Uttermost [Open Heavens Friday 12th January 2018]

Memorise: Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. – Hebrews 7:25

Read: Mark 2:1-12 (KJV)

1 And again he entered into Capernaum after some days; and it was noised that he was in the house.

2 And straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door: and he preached the word unto them.

3 And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four.

4 And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay.

5 When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.

6 But there were certain of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts,

7 Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only?

8 And immediately when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, he said unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts?

9 Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk?

10 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,)

11 I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house.

12 And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion.

Bible in One Year: Genesis 27-28, Revelation 11, Hymn: Sing Hymn 3: What Can Wash Away My Sins

MESSAGE:

Today’s Bible reading contains an interesting story that confirms Jesus Christ as the authentic Saviour of the body, soul and spirit of mankind. A four-man squad brought a paralytic man face to face with Jesus Christ while He was preaching in a house. Amazingly, in Mark 2:5b, the first thing Jesus Christ said to the young man was,

“Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.”

To the religious leaders of Jesus’ day, this was a strange and conceited statement, which should not be uttered by any man. As they reasoned in their heart on how a man could proclaim another man’s sins to be forgiven, Jesus confronted with the truth of sin as the origin of man’s trouble on earth. Hear what He said in Mark 2:9-11:

9 Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk? 10 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,) 11 I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house.”

On hearing this, the sick got healed; people were so happy for him, and they glorified God.

There are lots of lessons to be learnt from this story; one of which is that sin brings about physical and spiritual calamity. Another lesson is that to overcome physical calamity, the issue of sin must be dealt with first. It becomes easier for healing to take place when the issue of sin has been settled because the spiritual controls the physical. Sometimes we fail to look beyond the physical in our bid to solve spiritually-inflicted problems, and so we remain in this problem perpetually. Beloved, have you found out the root cause of the problem you are confronted with? Are they spiritual or physical in nature? The good news is that whether they are spiritual or physical, Jesus Christ is more than able to solve them today. In Luke 4:18-19, says this concerning Him:

18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.”

Beloved, do you want salvation in every facet of life? Jesus Christ is the one that you need. To receive His salvation, all He requires of you is a total surrender of your heart to His Lordship. If you can do this today, He will save you completely.

Action Point:Ask the Great Physician to heal you of any spiritual or physical infirmity challenging your life.

Hymn 3: What Can Wash Away My Sins

1. What can wash away my sin?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus;
What can make me whole again?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

Chorus:
Oh! precious is the flow
That makes me white as snow;
No other fount I know,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

2. For my cleansing this I see
Nothing but the blood of Jesus!
For my pardon this my plea
Nothing but the blood of Jesus!

3. Nothing can my sin erase
Nothing but the blood of Jesus!
Naught of works, 'tis all of grace
Nothing but the blood of Jesus!

4. This is all my hope and peace
Nothing but the blood of Jesus!
This is all my righteousness
Nothing but the blood of Jesus!

And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope is in thee. — Psalm 39:7

The sea was beating against the rocks in huge, dashing waves. The lightning was flashing, the thunder was roaring, the wind was blowing; but the little bird was asleep in the crevice of the rock, its head serenely under its wing, sound asleep. That is peace—to be able to sleep in the storm! In Christ, we are relaxed and at peace in the midst of the confusion, bewilderments, and perplexities of life. The storm rages, but our hearts are at rest. We have found peace—at last!

Prayer for the day: Thank You, dear Lord, for the hope I have in Your abiding love, which surrounds me.

Topic: He Was Born A Savior [Andrew Wommack’s Daily Saturday January 13th, 2018]

Luke 2:11, "For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord."

Text: Luke 2:8-20

Jesus did not grow into being Lord and Saviour. He was born that way. Jesus was God manifest in the flesh (1 Tim. 3:16). What a great mystery!

How could Almighty God limit Himself to the form of a man? And even if He did that, how could he possibly start as a baby? These questions defy human ability to fully understand.

At the dedication of the first temple, Solomon said, "But will God in very deed dwell with men on the earth? Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house which I have built!"

(2 Chr. 6:18) How much less the body of a little child!

Part of the answer lies in the fact that God is a spirit (Jn. 4:24). Spirits are not limited by time and space. In Jesus' spirit, He was the eternal God who created the universe. The physical body of Jesus was just His "earth suit" that He used to manifest Himself to mankind. All of Jesus' deity could fit inside that body.

Even though this is still hard to grasp, it helps us understand how Christ Himself can live in us as believers (Col. 1:27). If all the glory of God could fit inside the physical body of Jesus, then all the fullness of God can dwell in us too (Jn. 1:16). Believe that Christ is in you today.

Topic: In Good Times and Bad [Kenneth and Gloria Copeland, Saturday January 13th, 2018]

Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. - Psalm 91:14-15

God is called by many names. He is the Lord our Healer, our Provider, our Banner and our Righteousness. He also promises to be our Deliverer. In this troubled world that may very well be what we need Him to be most often.

But there are many believers who never experience God's mighty delivering power because, instead of walking closely with Him day by day, they wait until danger strikes to call upon Him. That just doesn't work. If you want God to rescue you in the bad times, you have to fellowship with Him in the good times. Why? Because God responds to faith. Our faith—not our need—is what causes Him to act on our behalf. And we'll never be able to develop that kind of faith, that kind of trust and confidence in Him, if we don't spend enough time with Him to get to know Him.

First John 3:20-22 tells us that we have confidence toward God when we do the things that are pleasing in His sight. If we only serve God halfheartedly, then we will not have confidence in Him to deliver us from trouble. When danger surrounds us, instead of being filled with faith, we'll find ourselves paralyzed with fear.

Love and serve God with your whole heart. Walk closely with Him in the good times. Then, when you need Him to be your Deliverer, you'll know without a doubt you can trust Him to care for you!

Topic: There Is A Place For You In The Kingdom [TREM’s Daily Saturday January 13th, 2018]

“But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.” (Ephesians 4:7 KJV)

God has given to every person gifts, talents and abilities so that every person can contribute his or her own quota to the kingdom. What that simply means is that every person is wired for something. There is a place for you to function in the kingdom agenda. Your responsibility is to find your place and fulfil destiny. Remember that it is the hand of the diligent that bears rule (Proverbs 12:24). The days of just warming the seats are over. Get involved at the group level and join a Ministry Arm of your choice. That is one way to get committed. You must be busy. I encourage you to jump on board and let us do the work together. Find your place and begin to serve, because God has given you a specific talent for a specific purpose.

I encourage you today to take a quality decision that someone must benefit from your gifting. You can start from your little corner. If you enjoy singing, start from your group meetings. If you feel inclined to administration, start helping in your group or fellowship to put structures in place. That is a good way to develop your gift, and pretty soon, what started small would snowball to the glory of God.

Don’t fold your hands and think you are not important. You are important. And everyone will certainly give an account of the talent before the Giver of all talents. The Bible tells us that God is not unrighteous to forget your service to Him. Let me assure you, therefore, that He who brought you this far will keep and sustain you.

I declare that every day, the light will shine for you out of darkness. You will not be small. This year will yield her increase for you. Every ground you walk upon will produce no matter the complication. You will take your portion in the land. It will happen for you speedily. I will hear your testimony.

Topic: An Angry God? [Our Daily Bread 13th Saturday January, 2018]

Read: Exodus 33:18–19; 34:1–7, Bible in a Year: Genesis 31–32; Matthew 9:18–38

The Lord, the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.Exodus 34:6

When I studied Greek and Roman mythology in college, I was struck by how moody and easily angered the mythological gods were in the stories. The people on the receiving end of their anger found their lives destroyed, sometimes on a whim.

I was quick to scoff, wondering how anyone could believe in gods like that. But then I asked myself, Is my view of the God who actually exists much different? Don’t I view Him as easily angered whenever I doubt Him? Sadly, yes.

That’s why I appreciate Moses’s request of God to “show me your glory” (Exodus 33:18). Having been chosen to lead a large group of people who often grumbled against him, Moses wanted to know that God would indeed help him with this great task. Moses’s request was rewarded by a demonstration of God’s glory. God announced to Moses His name and characteristics. He is “the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness” (34:6).

This verse reminded me that God is not impulsive, suddenly striking out in anger. That’s reassuring, especially when I consider the times I’ve lashed out at Him in anger or impatience. Also, He continually works to make me more like Himself.

We can see God and His glory in His patience with us, the encouraging word of a friend, a beautiful sunset, or—best of all—the whisper of the Holy Spirit inside of us.

Prayer:Father God, I’m grateful that You are always compassionate, forgiving, and faithful.

Though we often change, God never does.

Insight:

Being exposed to God’s perfect character drew two responses from Moses. He first responded with worship (34:8), and then he acknowledged the need for forgiveness (v. 9). These continue to be important responses toward our loving God who is perfectly holy, compassionate, and forgiving.

What is your response to God’s loving forgiveness? Bill Crowder

Topic: Categories of People In Relation To Vision [Seeds of Destiny Saturday January 13th, 2018]

Scripture: Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.Proverb 29:18

Thought For The Day: In life, when we arrive too soon, we arrive too small.

In one of my books, ‘21 Foolish Things People Do’, it was made very clear that one of the foolish things people do is living without a future plan. When a man has a vision for tomorrow, it gives him strength and wisdom for today.

Now, I want to give you five categories of people as far as vision is concerned:

1. People with no vision

This group of people are those who live their lives at random. They do not have a mind of their own; they run with any option on ground because they have no definite vision for living.

2. People with vision but no pursuit

This group of people only day dream; they have vision but lack the power to pursue it. All they live with is fantasy.

3. People with abandoned vision

This group of people had vision at one point or the other in their lives but they encountered failure, resistance and opposition and so, abandoned their vision like Moses. It is important to know that opposition is the strength of vision; any vision that is not opposed is not genuine or authentic. The devil fights what he fears; if he does not fear you, he will not fight you.

Apart from the opposition from the enemy, some people lack the right strategy in achieving their vision.

4. People who stop before full realization of their vision

This group of people began to see the realization of their vision but stopped along the line. They may have started succeeding in fulfilling God’s purpose but the feeling of success and premature contentment made them to abandon their vision. When we arrive too soon, we arrive too small. That is the story of people who stopped before full realization.

5. People on the pathway of vision

This group of people are very few on earth. These are people who do not only conceive vision but pursue vision until they see manifestation.

Beloved, may God give you the grace to belong to the fifth category of people listed above in Jesus Name.

Remember This: In life, when we arrive too soon, we arrive too small.

Assignments:

1. Make up your mind not to live your life to chance.

2. Conceive, pursue and realize the vision for life and destiny.

Prayer: O Lord, help me not to live my life at random. Give me the grace to live according to Your Purpose for my life, in Jesus’ Name.

Amazing Fact: The brain is more active at night than during the day.

Today In History: 13/01/1942 - Henry Ford patented the plastic automobile referred to as the "Soybean Car." The car was 30% lighter than the average car.

Daily Reading: Genesis 28:1 to 29:35, Matthew 9:18 to 38, Psalm 11:1 to 7, Proverbs 3:11 to 12.

Share with me again the good report below which I have tagged the RAIN OF DECORATION. This rain shall come on you like a flood this year.

Dear Dr. Chris, I bless God for his awesomeness upon my life and this ministry. I partook in the 14 day fasting programs of last year. The Lord has dealt marvelously with me. To the glorified God, I was promoted miraculously; God has blessed the works of my hands as well as my family.

The new grade comes with higher targets and responsibilities but I trust God that he will never put me to shame. To him be all the glory (Philomath Ekanem; patraphil1001@yahoo.com). See this also:

Good day our daddy in the lord. I want to bless the name of the lord for proving himself in my life. I did the 21 days fast and prayed the 12 mantles prayers in January last year and indeed God answered my prayers. He gave me a job immediately after finishing my nysc in this difficult economy/recession. I know that he will perfect his works in my life (Adewunmi oyedeji; wunioyedeji@gmail.com). And this finally: I gave out extra 6 copies of ODM in October 2017 and God gave me a contract job.

He also provided for me to pay all my debts. May his name be highly exhorted in Jesus name. Amen! (Juliette blessing). Indeed we received non stop testimonies daily and I call it the manna rain, but due to space, we are constrained to take very few testimonies in every edition. The first testimony talks about God’s hand opinion the sister through the odm 21 day fasting program. That shall be your story this year! The testimony of how did it happen shall locate you this year! The second testimony was attached to the 12 mantles of the last world anointing night. As you obey the prophetic instruction of bringing a garment or shirt you do not need anymore, there shall be a change of garment testimony on your behalf and that of your family this year, as was the story of Elisha in 2kings 2. Don’t miss the world anointing night this year or any of the monthly anointing services! The third testimony talked about giving out extra copies of ODM as instructed. As you obey every prophetic directions from this booklet, the God of 2 chronicle 20:20 shall appear for you. We are all her for a short time. It is what you do for others that will last! Give out extra copies of this booklet this week and watch the seven eyes of God glow in your direction this year. HE WILL CAUSE THAT STUBBORN ENEMY TO SUBMIT BY FORCE! BASIC SCRIPTURE: 2 Chronicle 20:20-30.

TODAY IS DAY 8 of this 21 day fasting programme. Turn to => page 43 of the “WAR AGAINST HAMAN-13” booklet for today’s special prayers.

DCLM Daily Manna 13 January, 2018 by Pastor Kumuyi – The Father’s Yearning

Topic: The Father’s Yearning [DCLM Daily Manna Saturday January 13th, 2018]

Text: Jeremiah 3:1-12

Key Verse:“Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the LORD; and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith the LORD, and I will not keep anger for ever.” (Jeremiah 3:12).

No matter how pained, hurt and disappointed a father may be over the misdeed of his child, there is always a longing in his heart to have the child back to his love. True, he may take some steps to discipline the child; but he has just one purpose for doing this: to have the child realize his wrong, repent and ask for his father’s forgiveness. A real father is ever so ready to forgive and reinstate a truly repentant child.

In the passage under consideration is God’s gracious invitation to the children of Israel to repent and return to Him. The children of Israel had consistently sinned and rebelled against God, provoking Him with innumerable abominations in spite of His love for them and the many wonders He had done for them. He had, in the previous chapter, reproved them for their sins and warned of the great punishment for their apostasy. They rightly deserved to be punished and abandoned by God. But here He pleads with them to return to Him in repentance. Thus shows that God delights more in showing mercy and forgiveness than in bringing punishment and judgment on sinners and backsliders.

The good news is, no matter how far and deep you have gone in sin and backsliding, God is willing to forgive if you are penitent. Do not allow the gravity of your sins to drive you further away from Him. Yes, god hates sin and rebellion and will surely punish the sinner but He is willing to forgive if you truly repent of your sin, confess and forsake them and receive Jesus as Lord and Saviour.

Thought For The Day: God’s mercy rejoices over His judgment.

Topic: The Lord Mighty In Battle [Open Heavens Saturday 13th January 2018]

Memorise: If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. - Daniel 3:17

Read: Psalm 24:7-10 KJV

7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

8 Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.

9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

10 Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory.

Bible in One Year: Genesis 29-30, Revelation 12, Hymn: Sing Hymn 11: O God, Our Help In Ages Past

MESSAGE:

To live a fulfilled life worthy of their election, children of God must know their God as the Lord who is mighty in battle. The story of the three Hebrew boys is a classical example of what God is capable of doing for His children who know who He is (Daniel 3). They confronted the whole emperor of their time, Nebuchadnezzar, with faith in the supremacy of the power of their God over the affairs of men. There is a lesson we must learn from the story of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, which the Lord spelt out for us in clear terms in Luke 17:33, saying:

“Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.”

Note that it was after King Nebuchadnezzar had threatened to burn the three Hebrew boys that they declared that they were not afraid for their lives, even if they had to die defending what they believed in. What an amazing statement of faith this is:

“If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.” -Daniel 3:17

It takes truly knowing God to make such a bold statement. No wonder Daniel 11:32 says,

“And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.”

Do you know your God as a weakling or as a mighty warrior? To the three Hebrew boys, the God of Israel was more than able to deliver them, because they knew Him to be the Lord of hosts. He specialises in fighting all manner of battles in all realms. On the ground, He fought for the children of Israel against the Amalekites (Exodus 17:8-16). In the midst of the sea, He fought for the Israelites against the Egyptians (Exodus 14:13-30). In the air, He fought for Joshua and the children of Israel against the forces of the five kings who gathered against them (Joshua 10:1-20). The awesomeness of this God made the Psalmist to describe Him as the Lord mighty in battle (Psalm 24:8). Beloved, what is that battle confronting you? You would be wise to run to God Almighty to fight for you. He is mighty in battle and has never lost any war. He will be your sure Ally and you will be victorious in Jesus’ Name. Surrender your life to Him and hand over those battles of life to Him, and you will begin to enjoy victories without sweat through His involvement.

Prayer Point:Father, please fight the battles of life confronting me today, and in every situation I will encounter this year, don’t let me be a victim but a victor, in Jesus’ Name.

Hymn 11: O God, Our Help In Ages Past

1. O God, our help in ages past,
Our hope for years to come,
Our shelter from the stormy blast,
And our eternal home.

2. Under the shadow of Thy throne,
Still may we dwell secure;
Sufficient is Thine arm alone,
And our defence is sure

3. Before the hills in order stood,
Or earth received her frame,
From everlasting Thou art God,
To endless years the same

4. A thousand ages in Thy sight
Are like an evening gone,
Short as the watch that ends the night
Before the rising sun.

5. Time, like an ever-rolling stream,
Bears all its sons away:
They fly forgotten, as a dream
Dies at the opening day.

6. O God, our help in ages past,
Our hope for years to come,
Be Thou our guard while life shall last,
And our eternal home.

TOPIC: Integrity - Part 1 [Sunday, 14th January 2018]

MEMORY VERSE:‘’The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destory them." - Proverbs 11:3

BIBLE PASSAGE: Proverbs 11:1-9

1 A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight.

2 When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.

3 The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.

4 Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death.

5 The righteousness of the perfect shall direct his way: but the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness.

6 The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them: but transgressors shall be taken in their own naughtiness.

7 When a wicked man dieth, his expectation shall perish: and the hope of unjust men perisheth.

8 The righteous is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked cometh in his stead.

9 An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.

INTRODUCTION:

Integrity comes from the Latin word "Integritas" which means wholeness, entireness or unbroken state. It is the state of being honest, just, upright or pure. Integrity covers the whole moral character. It is one of the dire needs of the church and the society today.

LESSON OUTLINES

1. The essence of integrity

2. Factors eroding integrity

THE ESSENCE OF INTEGRITY

Integrity is fundamentally a proof of one's belief in the Gospel (2Corinthians 5:17). It is a personality trait that does not make a person to waiver (1Kings 9:4). It provides an avenue to demonstrate your reliability to family members, subordinates and even superiors (1Samuel 12:3-4). People of integrity honour commitments and keep promises (Joshua 2:12-14; 6:22-23). Someone with integrity recognises his fallibility takes responsibility for failures and tries to rectify same (Genesis 26:9-11). People with integrity are not only truthful but are also naturally consistent in other areas of life (Luke 16:10).

FACTORS ERODING INTEGRITY

1. The quick-fix mentality for worldly gains (2Kings 5:20-23).

2. Ignorance of the Living Word of God (Hosea 4:6; Proverbs 29:18).

3. Preoccupation with gratifying physical desires resulting in lust of the flesh (1John 2:16).

4. Crave for material wealth at the expense of loyalty (Matthew 26:15).

5. Inability to maintain a consistent lifestyle both in the private and in the open (Joshua 7:11, 19; Genesis 31:32-35).

6. Misappropriation of God's mercy and grace as an excuse for careless living and moral laxity (Romans 1:28; 6:1-2).

CONCLUSION:

If ever we need two powerful forces to preserve us along life's way, they are integrity and uprightness. While uprightness makes us learn God's requirements and strive to fulfil them, integrity keeps us from claiming to be upright while living in pretense (Genesis 39:9).

QUESTIONS

1. Give five reasons for integrity.

2. Mention three factors that can erode integrity.

Seeds of Destiny 14 January 2018 by Pastor Paul Enenche: How To Conceive A Vision For Living

$

Topic: How To Conceive A Vision For Living [Seeds of Destiny Sunday January 14th, 2018]

Scripture: I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.Habakkuk 2:1-2.

Thought For The Day: Your vision determines your position in life.

Previously, we have identified the importance of vision in the life of a person. It is very important, therefore, to know how to conceive vision for living. There are many people who are ready to run with vision but do not know how to conceive it.

Today, we shall look at practical steps on how to conceive a vision:

1. By asking for revelation from God

This is asking God at the place of prayer to tell you what He created you for. God showed Joseph what he would become by revelation through dreams.

2. By having the passion to offer solution

A person can arrive at vision by having the passion to offer solution. Moses saw his brethren being unjustly treated and a vision came into his heart to deliver them. Nehemiah saw the broken walls of Jerusalem and became passionate to rebuild it. Your vision determines your position in life; your passion determines the position God will place you in life.

3. By the realization of potential

This is understanding the potentials God put inside of you and deploying them accordingly. David realized he had the potential to bring down a giant called Goliath. Joseph realized that he had the gift of dream interpretation. When you discover the potential in you and what God has put inside you and you determine to pursue it by taking relevant action, you are on the path of vision fulfilment.

Beloved, I welcome you to a life of vision fulfilment as you follow these steps in Jesus’ Name.

Remember This: Your vision determines your position in life.

Assignments:

1. Go through today’s message again.

2. Make up your mind to ask God at the place of prayer.

3. Develop the passion to deploy your potentials and offer solutions.

Prayer: O Lord, I ask for the grace to offer solutions and deploy my potentials, in Jesus’ Name.
